This week's
Stampin' Up! Only Challenge is to create a treat holder. Well it just so happens that I am in the middle of creating treats to send to my son's class this week, so I thought I would share what I am sending tomorrow. I just love that Stampin' Up! has lots of XL dies that make excellent treat holders, all you need to do it add your own flare to it. I made a holder for the pencil treats that my son's class will receive, but I did not use the traditional cardstock. Instead I used the thick window sheet, cut it with the fancy favor die and then embossed the cut sheet in the vintage wallpaper embossing folder. Hold it together with sticky tape. Tie it off with a bow and voila! It almost looks like a glass container. Just fill it up with whatever kind of treat you wish to give as a gift.
Accessories: Fancy Favor Bigz XL die; Bigshot; Window Sheet; Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder; Pumpkin Pie 5/8 Satin Ribbon (retired)

Wow, I wish we SU! still had those thick window sheets for sale! I might just have to use one of my last left overs to try this out. So pretty!

Stacy, I absolutely LOVE this clear box/treat idea! So simple, yet so elegant. (Would really be neat used for weddings, too.) I'll have to case this sometime! TFS - Micki
