Quick Trick You can change the color of 3/16" and Jumbo Brads easily. Press the head of the brad on a VersaMark pad, dip it into Stampin’ Emboss powder, and then—holding the brad with tweezers—heat it with the heat tool until the powder melts. Once it cools, you have a custom-colored brad.

FYI You can use the 1/16" Circle Punch to make a perfect hole for your brad. Make sure the hole is far enough from the edge of the paper that the tails of the brad won’t extend past the edge. If the punch won’t reach where you want to place your brad, use the paper-piercing tool to punch a hole wherever you want.
