The fourth card that I am making for the Regional meeting in Birmingham is a Birthday card using my favorite colors.  The Beyond the Garden DSP has been so great to use on so many of my projects recently and it just lent itself nicely to this birthday card.

Cardstock:  Whisper White, Wild Wasabi, Beyond the GardenDSP
Ink:  Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi
Accessories:  SNAIL, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, White Taffeta Ribbon

Regional Swap Card #3

Even though we will be swapping around the holidays, I thought it would be necessary to also take along everyday occasion cards to swap as well.  So my third card will not be holiday themed.  I went with a simple "thinking of you" card.

Stamps:  Fabulous Florets, Swirls & Curls Verses
Cardstock:  Pacific Point, Old Olive, Natural White, Beyond the Garden DSP
Ink:  Pacific Point
Accessories:  SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals

Regional Swap Card #2

I am sticking with a Christmas theme for my second swap card that I will be taking.  I went with a monochromatic card for a bold effect on this card. As an unexpected, but well liked, side effect of using the white craft ink on the real red oval, it gives a felt type appearance to the paper.  I was surprised by this outcome but I really like the texture appearance.  It is hard to see this effect in the picture, but it really stands out in person.

Stamps:  Dasher, Four Frames, Holiday Happiness
Cardstock:  Real Red, Whisper White, Real Red Designer Series Paper
Ink:  Real Red, Craft White
Accessories:  SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval, Decorative Label Punch

Regional Swap Card #1

In just 3 weeks, I will be attending Stampin' Up!'s regional meeting in Birmingham and I just cannot wait.  This will be my first "big" Stampin' Up! event.  It is always great to get together with other fellow stampers and share ideas.  One of my favorite parts of these types of meetings is the swaps that the demonstrators give amongst each other.  I have been working diligently on my swaps over the past couple of weeks.  Right now I have four different swaps that I will be taking with me.  Over the next few days I will be sharing my swaps with you as I am finishing up my quantities to take with me.  Here is the first one that I will be sharing.

Stamps:   Heard from the Heart, Tree Trimmings
Cardstock:   Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla
Ink:   Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Crumb Cake
Accessories:   Scallop Trim Border Punch, Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker, SNAIL

September Scrap Night Club Meeting Projects

It is time for the reveal of our next meeting projects, and we are prepping for that most wonderful time of year.  You got it right Halloween.  Our family has always had a huge tradition of gathering at Halloween and spending time together and scaring everyone that comes by.  This year will be a hard one as we will be without the matriarch of the family who enjoyed Halloween the most of all of us.  So Nanny these pages are in your honor as we gear up for this year's Halloween.

The double page layout will be a fabulous spread of ironworks and witches featuring the colors Tangerine Tango, Perfect Plum, Certainly Celery, and Basic Black.

The single page layout is a fun one.  We all have those pictures of our kids trying to help us when we are building or working on the house.  Here we highlight those.

Our card features the fabulous new ribbon lace border punch with the colors Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant, and Whisper White.  It dresses up the card so nicely.

See everyone next Friday!
