I kept this a clean and simple card. It utilizes the colors daffodil delight and cherry cobbler. I added a touch of authentic detail by literally setting the edges on fire and letting it get a burn effect with a little smoke. This will make a great little thank you for the men and women of the fire department that do so much for our community.

You met the challenge wonderfully. They are our heroes along with our military. Thanks for blessing my day and touching my heart.
Wow, Stacy! This is awesome! The "burned" edges are a great detail and I'm sure these cards will be very appreciated by the fire department. :)
Beautiful card. You simply did a great job! Congratulations to your husband for being a volunteer firefighter! I think it takes a special person to do this.

What a great card! I love your attention to detail by actually burning the edges of the focal image. Love it!
It takes a special person to run into a burning building when most folks are running in the other direction. What a gorgeous card and stamp set! I love the way it all came together perfectly with the sketch. Thanks to your DH for all that he does.. and thanks so much for playing along with stamping 411 this week!
