Two Page Nautical Scrapbook Layout

The Sea Dragon Pirate Cruise in Panama City Beach Florida is the best pirate cruise for both kids and adults in my opinion.  We have taken the cruise each of the last two times we have visited the beach.  My son absolutely loves it, and has been begging me to scrapbook his pictures of our last trip.  So with school out I finally have had time to sit down with him and make the pages.

Quick Trick You can change the color of 3/16" and Jumbo Brads easily. Press the head of the brad on a VersaMark pad, dip it into Stampin’ Emboss powder, and then—holding the brad with tweezers—heat it with the heat tool until the powder melts. Once it cools, you have a custom-colored brad.

FYI You can use the 1/16" Circle Punch to make a perfect hole for your brad. Make sure the hole is far enough from the edge of the paper that the tails of the brad won’t extend past the edge. If the punch won’t reach where you want to place your brad, use the paper-piercing tool to punch a hole wherever you want.

FYI

Steel-ruled dies have sharp edges—handle with care.
When cutting intricately-detailed images, paper (or other material) may become caught in the die. Remove carefully to prevent ripping.
Not all materials will work well with some designs. Experiment a bit with your dies and materials to make sure you get the cutting results you want.
When using Bigz or Originals dies that have score marks, perforations, or lots of details, we recommend that you cut just one piece of paper at a time. Use the Premium Crease Pad with dies that have score marks for best results.
